Who We Are

Whether we’re in our early 20’s or late 30’s, our leadership team and fellow members are from all walks of life.
We have either been born and raised in the valley or from 3,000 miles away, we have different desires professionally and different interests personally.
But we’ve come together to engage in civic opportunities, community engagement, professional development, and have fun!

Leadership Team

Eleanor Miller ~ President

Hello! My name is Eleanor Miller and I’m the founder and president of the Magic Valley Young Professionals. I moved to Twin Falls in June 2016 from Wisconsin (Go Packers!) for a dream job in Glanbia’s graduate (management training) program. A food science nerd with a passion for the dairy business, I currently work on a team managing a portfolio of proteins used in healthy snacks and nutrition bars.
After graduating college and getting some of my free time back, I’ve gotten involved in my passions: music, food, traveling, and community building.  I fell in love with the natural beauty of the area and have had a blast exploring my Idahome with my new friends. Some favorites include kayaking in the Canyon, 1000 Springs Festival and white water rafting. I started the MV Young Professionals to create a space for people to gather, connect, learn and grow. I have been humbled and amazed at the outpouring of support and engagement we’ve received. We have an outstanding team and would love for you to join us!

Hans Heeling ~ Vice-President, Website

Hello and Welcome! I am Hans Heeling, I work in Information Technology operating my own consulting business in the area. I enjoy camping, dirt biking, kayaking, snow skiing, as well as many others. I would have to say my passion though is aviation, If there is an airshow close I will be there.

Andy Hohwieler ~ Treasurer, Website

Greetings and welcome to Magic Valley Young Professionals. I am Andy Hohwieler and currently serve as Treasurer. Originally from Nebraska, I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and joined The Scoular Company as a Grain/Commodity Trader. After being moved all over the country, I settled in Twin Falls to manage the company’s grains and feed commodity business 4 years ago. I received an MBA from Boise State University and have come to enjoy getting involved with the university. I enjoy fly-fishing, hiking, upland bird hunting, golf, and am involved in a number of civic organizations.

It is an exciting time to live in Twin Falls. The community is breaking out it’s shell in pursuit of new industries, small businesses and revitalizing the historic downtown district. We sit at the perfect location to access a variety of outdoor activities. Must do’s include; a trip to Sun Valley, kayak from Centennial Park to Pillar Falls, and have a drink on the patio at Elevation 486

Anja Rodriguez ~ Secretary

My name is Anja Rodriguez, and I am an attorney at Nicholson Migliuri Rodriguez, PLLC. I graduated from Twin Falls High School. However, I moved away to attend college at Boise State University and law school at the University of Idaho, College of Law. I returned to the area in June of 2016. I love to travel and I make it a goal to plan a trip at least once a year—it keeps me more focused the rest of the year!  I also love reading thriller/mystery books, spending time with my dog, attending BSU football games, and am an avid coffee drinker. 😊 Twin Falls is a great community if you love outdoor activities (like I do!), because it’s close to hiking, rock climbing, hot springs, etc., and also close to bigger cities if you want to hit up a concert or event. Twin Falls also has great local restaurants, breweries, wineries, and other great businesses; there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.

Breanna Howard – Professional Development

Welcome to Twin Falls! I am Breanna Howard, a CPA at Cooper Norman and I’ve lived here most of my life. I like to cook (well. . . my passion is to “bake”, but I can swing both), do all things outdoors and am a huge junkie for theatre and comedy.
I absolutely love Twin Falls because of the huge range of outdoor activities, the small-town feel and the convenience of a few bigger cities within a short day-drive. I enjoy running, mountain biking, hiking, snow-shoeing and canoeing and I like the fact that you can find all so close by.

Madeleine Smith – Marketing Chair

Hi there! My name is Madeleine Smith, I’m a New York native and lover of road trips, hiking, and Netflix. I’m currently the marketing specialist at the Southern Idaho Economic Development Organization (SIEDO).

As a recent Magic Valley transplant, I am excited to explore the region and be a resource for other young professionals looking to move to the area. There’s so much to do and see in Twin Falls and the surrounding towns – whatever your passion is, you’ll find it here.

Jocie James ~ Social Chair

Hi! My name is Jocie James, I am a Logistics Assistant for The Scoular Company. I’m 24 years old, born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas and moved to Twin Falls in May 2017. I graduated from Pittsburg State University, where I double majored in Marketing and Management.
I’m also an Independent Contractor for a Promotional Merchandising Agency, Fingerprint Promotions and an Ambassador for the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce. I love fishing, camping, cooking, kayaking, socializing and a glass of wine after a long day at work.

Luke Bellamy

Hello there, I am Luke Bellamy. I am the Commercial Manager for the Eastern Idaho Railroad. I’m 25 and from Overland Park, Kansas, but moved here for the railroad.
I love Kansas City sports and follow my teams religiously. Fishing, hunting, backpacking, golfing, and exploring are some of my favorite things to do out west. One of the best aspects of the Magic Valley is the long summer nights. Sometimes it doesn’t get dark until 10-10:30 at night which allows for plenty of outdoor activities.  Trying the different small diners and family-owned restaurants have been fun and gives Twin Falls a great hometown feel.
