Welcome to Mohawk Valley Young Professionals
MVYP are young professionals who live, work, and play in the Mohawk Valley. We work in business, government, health care, education, non-profits, human services, and many other professional fields. While we all have different backgrounds and experiences, we are connected by our desire to be active in our community, develop our careers, network, have fun, and give a voice to young professionals across the Mohawk Valley.
What we do
We improve our community and ourselves by connecting young professionals with each other and with other organizations, businesses, opportunities, and people in the Mohawk Valley through events and initiatives focused on networking, professional development, socialization, community involvement, and advocacy.
Simply, we work hard, we have fun, we give back, and we make the Mohawk Valley a better place to live.
Why we do what we do
MVYP understands the important role that a vibrant and active community of young professionals can play in the lives of our members and in the quality of life in the region. As a young professional, it can be hard to find your place or voice in your workplace or in your community. MVYP provides opportunities to connect with a dynamic and diverse group of like-minded people.
Additionally, we know that the Mohawk Valley is a great place to live and work, and has great potential for growth. We will encourage young professionals to move to and stay in the area by promoting and celebrating the many things that make the Mohawk Valley an attractive, affordable, and enjoyable place to live.
